Summary
This study aims to understand if noise levels in the operating room affect a patient's depth of sleep and vital signs during surgery. Researchers will observe 70 adults having elective surgery, measuring noise levels and comparing them to brain activity and heart/blood pressure readings. The goal is to gather information that could help improve patient safety and operating room environments in the future.
