NCT ID NCT03927885

First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests whether an open labeled placebo—a pill that patients know contains no active drug—can reduce fatigue in people with advanced cancer. About 100 participants will either receive the placebo or be placed on a waitlist. The goal is to see if simply believing in treatment can ease cancer-related tiredness.
