Summary

This study tested a special online writing program designed for LGBTQ+ women, transgender, and nonbinary people who have experienced trauma. The goal was to see if these guided writing exercises could help reduce symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and lower levels of hazardous drinking. Researchers enrolled 131 participants across the United States to try the program and measure its effects over several months.
