Can a computer program ease depression in seniors?
NCT ID NCT04728204
Summary
This study tested whether an 8-week online therapy program could help reduce depression symptoms in adults aged 60 and older. Researchers compared 84 participants who either received the internet-based cognitive behavioral therapy immediately or were placed in a delayed treatment group. The goal was to see if this accessible, at-home approach could effectively improve mood and well-being in elderly individuals with depression.
