Can an online course teach cancer patients to spot bad health advice?
NCT ID NCT07200453
Summary
This study is creating and testing an online learning tool designed to help people with cancer improve their skills at finding and understanding reliable health information on the internet. Researchers will enroll 660 cancer patients and randomly assign them to either use the interactive online tool, read a PDF with the same information, or receive no intervention. The main goal is to see if using the tool improves participants' digital health literacy over eight weeks compared to those who don't use it.
