Moms helping moms: online peer support tested for postpartum depression

NCT ID NCT06597448

Summary

This study is testing whether a 9-week online group therapy program helps new mothers with postpartum depression. The groups are co-led by public health nurses and other mothers who have recovered from the same condition. Researchers want to see if adding this program to a mother's usual care improves depression symptoms, reduces anxiety and stress, and helps the mother-infant relationship.
