Virtual workouts tested to boost health in kids with heart devices

NCT ID NCT05454501

Summary

This study tested whether an 8-week online exercise program could safely help children with pacemakers become more active and improve their strength and quality of life. Kids aged 6-18 were randomly assigned to either join live, supervised group workouts via video call three times a week or to receive general health education. The goal was to see if convenient, home-based exercise could overcome fears and build confidence in being physically active.
