Summary

This small pilot study tested whether a brief, self-guided online program could help reduce death anxiety in adults. Researchers enrolled 47 people with high levels of fear about death and randomly assigned them to either try the 4-part program immediately or wait. The program took about 2 hours total, and participants' anxiety, depression, and well-being were tracked for two weeks afterward.
