Can online expert coaching help therapists better treat kids with autism?
NCT ID NCT05031364
Summary
This study is testing whether a specific type of talk therapy (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or CBT), when taught to therapists through weekly online expert coaching, works better than standard care for children with autism. It aims to help kids aged 6-14 who struggle with emotional issues like anxiety, irritability, and defiance. The researchers will compare outcomes for 100 children whose therapists receive either the special online coaching or just standard training materials.
