Breaking language barriers: online course aims to help Spanish-Speaking parents support children with autism
NCT ID NCT06690255
Summary
This study is testing whether an online course in Spanish can help parents learn techniques to support language and social skills in their young children with autism. Spanish-speaking parents of children aged 2-5 with autism will take a 12-week online course and have regular virtual check-ins with researchers. The goal is to see if this training helps parents use Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) methods effectively and improves their child's communication and social interactions.
