Summary
This study is testing whether a single dose of the HPV vaccine is just as effective as the standard two doses at preventing infections that cause cervical cancer. It involves over 27,000 girls aged 12-16 in Costa Rica, comparing two different HPV vaccines. The goal is to make vaccination simpler and more affordable, especially in countries with high rates of cervical cancer.
