Simpler breathing tube method tested for lung surgery

NCT ID NCT07288255

Summary

This study looked at whether using one breathing tube throughout a lung nodule surgery is as safe as the standard method of switching tubes. Researchers compared two groups of 375 patients who had surgery to remove small lung nodules. They checked for complications and patient comfort to see if the simpler 'one-stop' method worked just as well.
