First seen May 11, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This small study tested whether giving Zofran before propofol (a sleep medicine) could reduce the pain children feel when it's injected through an IV. It compared Zofran to the standard pain reliever lidocaine in 6 children having surgery. The study was stopped early, so results are limited.
