Fish oil pills could ease jaw pain, new study hopes

Summary
This study tests whether a special omega-3 supplement can reduce pain in adults with chronic temporomandibular disorder (TMD), a condition causing jaw pain. One hundred adults with TMD will take either the supplement or a placebo daily for 8 weeks. Researchers will measure pain levels, daily function, and safety to see if the supplement offers relief.
