First seen Jan 28, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study is testing whether taking omega-3 supplements twice a day for 12 weeks can help people with type 2 diabetes better control their blood sugar and cholesterol levels. Researchers will compare the effects of omega-3 against a placebo in 66 adults aged 25-75 who are already on standard diabetes treatments. The goal is to see if adding omega-3 can improve key health markers like HbA1c, fasting glucose, and triglycerides.
