Fish oil pills tested as potential relief for chronic jaw pain

Summary

This study is testing whether a special omega-3 dietary supplement can reduce chronic jaw pain and sensitivity in adults with temporomandibular disorder (TMD). One hundred participants will take either the supplement or a placebo pill daily for eight weeks while tracking their pain. Researchers will measure changes in pain intensity, sensitivity to pressure, and how the pain affects daily life and mood.
