New leukemia drug trial aims for deep disease control

Summary
This study is testing whether a drug called olverembatinib can effectively control newly diagnosed chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) when used alone. It will involve 50 adults with early-stage CML to measure how well the drug reduces cancer markers and manages the disease over time. Researchers will also track side effects and how treatment affects patients' quality of life.
