No clamp, no stitches: new kidney surgery could save more function

Summary

This study tests a new way to remove small kidney tumors using a robot, without clamping the kidney's blood supply or using stitches. The goal is to preserve as much healthy kidney function as possible. About 190 adults with tumors up to 7 cm will be enrolled to see if this technique is safe and effective.
