Researchers track Real-World side effects of ofev in lung disease patients
NCT ID NCT04325217
First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study monitors the long-term safety of the drug Ofev in people with systemic scleroderma-associated interstitial lung disease (SSc-ILD) in Japan. It does not test a new treatment but instead collects real-world data on side effects, especially stomach issues like diarrhea and nausea. About 586 patients who are starting Ofev for the first time will be followed. The goal is to confirm whether side effects seen in earlier clinical trials match what happens in everyday medical practice.
