Eye rosacea Pill's hidden impact on your gut under the microscope

NCT ID NCT05296837

Summary

This study aims to understand if a common low-dose pill for eye rosacea changes the bacteria in your gut and eyes, or increases antibiotic resistance. Researchers will compare a low dose, a standard dose, and a placebo pill in 50 adults with the condition over 8 weeks. The main goal is to gather knowledge about the drug's effects on the body's natural bacteria, not primarily to treat symptoms.
