Camera-Guided heart stents: a sharper view for better outcomes?

NCT ID NCT05324683

First seen Apr 17, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at how doctors use a special camera called OCT during routine heart procedures to place stents (small mesh tubes) in clogged arteries. About 2000 people with reduced blood flow to the heart will be included. The goal is to see if using a specific step-by-step guide (the MLD-MAX algorithm) helps improve how well the stents expand inside the artery.
