Summary

This trial tested a portable machine called the OCS Liver that keeps donor livers healthy outside the body. The goal was to use livers from donors after cardiac death, which are often not used. The study enrolled 9 adults waiting for a liver transplant and checked if the liver worked well for 6 months after transplant.
