Brain zaps & talk therapy: new hope for Tough-to-Treat OCD

NCT ID NCT07146438

Summary

This study is testing a combination treatment for people with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) that hasn't responded well to standard therapies. Participants receive a non-invasive brain stimulation treatment (rTMS) five days a week for six weeks, along with either a specific type of therapy (ERP) or general supportive therapy. The researchers will use data from wearable devices, smartphone check-ins, and brain scans to understand how people respond and predict who might benefit most.
