Summary

This study tested whether adding a new drug called troriluzole to a person's current OCD medication could help reduce symptoms better than adding a placebo (a dummy pill). It involved 456 adults whose OCD symptoms were not well-controlled by their standard medication alone. The goal was to see if troriluzole was safe and more effective at easing the repetitive thoughts and behaviors of OCD.
