Summary

This study tested whether adding a new drug called troriluzole could help adults with moderate-to-severe OCD who were still struggling despite taking standard antidepressant medications. Over 400 participants were randomly assigned to receive either troriluzole or a placebo (a dummy pill) in addition to their current treatment. The main goal was to see if the add-on drug could reduce the severity of OCD symptoms more effectively than the placebo.
