NCT ID NCT07146438

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether a noninvasive brain stimulation technique called rTMS, combined with a specific type of therapy (Exposure and Response Prevention), can reduce symptoms in people with OCD that hasn't responded to prior treatment. About 48 adults in Southern California will receive rTMS along with either the therapy or supportive counseling. Wearable devices and brain scans will help researchers understand who benefits most.
