First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests whether teaching people with age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, or glaucoma simple strategies—like using brighter lights, larger print, and smartphone apps—can help them manage their medications more safely and independently. About 50 participants will receive a one-hour one-on-one session with an occupational therapist. The goal is to reduce medication errors and improve daily functioning.
