First seen Mar 05, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This completed study looked at how occipital nerve stimulation (ONS) changes pain perception in people with chronic migraine or cluster headache. Six participants had sensory tests and filled out questionnaires before and after ONS insertion. The goal was to understand pain markers and quality-of-life changes, comparing results with healthy volunteers and patients having non-painful surgery.
