New hope for aggressive lung cancer: experimental drug combo enters late-stage trial

Summary
This study tests whether adding an experimental drug called obrixtamig to standard chemotherapy and immunotherapy helps people with advanced small cell lung cancer live longer. About 670 adults with extensive-stage disease will be randomly assigned to receive either the new combination or standard treatment alone. The trial also checks a device that measures a tumor marker called DLL3.
