First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests a procedure called Revita DMR (duodenal mucosal resurfacing) to see if it helps people with obesity maintain weight loss after stopping the drug tirzepatide. About 315 adults who lost at least 15% of their body weight on tirzepatide will be randomly assigned to receive Revita DMR or a sham procedure. The main goal is to see if Revita DMR prevents weight regain over six months to a year.
