Summary
This pilot study tests whether a low-calorie, high-protein tube feeding formula can help obese patients who rely on tube feeding lose weight. Researchers will also check how well patients tolerate the formula and its effects on muscle mass, blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol. The study involves 12 adults with a history of stroke who are on home enteral nutrition.
