Scientists probe: is losing fat the real key to healthier metabolism?
NCT ID NCT07355933
Summary
This study aimed to understand if losing more body fat, rather than just losing weight, leads to better improvements in metabolic health for people with excess weight. It followed 74 inactive adults aged 30-55 as they followed a 12-week diet. The researchers measured changes in body fat and key health markers in the blood to see if greater fat loss was linked to better health outcomes.
