Extreme obesity may increase danger during emergency breathing tube placement
NCT ID NCT07297420
Summary
This study aims to understand if patients with extreme obesity face more complications when a breathing tube is placed in an emergency, compared to those with severe obesity. Researchers will look back at medical records of 2 critically ill trauma patients to compare risks like severe drops in oxygen levels. The goal is to help doctors better prepare for and manage these high-risk situations.
