First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at how obesity damages blood vessels and how weight loss from bariatric surgery might reverse that damage. Researchers will track 85 adults with obesity before and after surgery, measuring blood vessel function and fat tissue changes. The goal is to understand if weight loss reduces heart disease risk by improving how blood vessels and fat tissue interact.
