Summary

This study aims to understand the connections between blood sugar control, gut bacteria, and iron buildup in the brain in people with obesity. Researchers will compare 128 people with and without obesity, and follow some after weight loss from diet or surgery. They will use glucose monitors, brain scans, stool samples, and thinking tests to see how these factors are related.
