Scientists test drug Mix-Ups for future obesity pill
NCT ID NCT07056842
Summary
This early-stage study checked how two common medications (an antibiotic and an antifungal) might change how the body processes an experimental drug called VCT220, which is being developed for weight management. It involved 32 healthy volunteers to see if these other drugs increase or decrease VCT220's levels in the blood. The goal is to gather basic safety information to guide future research in people with obesity.
