Summary
This study tests a smartphone app that helps people with obesity stay on track with their diet during a 3-month online weight loss program. About 200 adults with obesity and heart disease risk factors will use the app, which sends surveys and offers tips when it detects a risk of slipping up. The goal is to find out which types of alerts work best to prevent diet lapses.
