NCT ID NCT06869941
Summary
This study aims to understand how body fat and gut bacteria might influence brain function, memory, and thinking in people with and without obesity. Researchers will collect tissue, blood, and gut bacteria samples from 60 participants who are already scheduled for fat removal surgery. The goal is to identify new connections that could lead to better ways to diagnose and treat thinking problems related to obesity.
