Scientists probe link between body clock and belly fat

NCT ID NCT06891534

Summary

This study aims to understand how the body's natural daily rhythms affect fat tissue, and how these rhythms might be different in people with obesity. Researchers will compare lean and obese participants under two different feeding schedules: continuous feeding through a tube versus three meals a day. The goal is to gather basic knowledge about fat metabolism, not to test a treatment.
