First seen May 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding oat flakes rich in β-glucan to the diet helps teenagers with type 1 diabetes control their blood sugar levels and cholesterol. The goal was to see if this simple food change could improve daily glucose stability and reduce heart disease risk.
