Oat power: first human test of natural Anti-Inflammatory
NCT ID NCT06101784
Summary
This is the first study in people to test the safety of avenanthramide, a natural compound found in oats that may have anti-inflammatory properties. Researchers will give single and multiple doses to healthy volunteers and to people with a larger waist size and low-grade inflammation to see how the body handles it and if it's safe. The main goal is to understand the compound's safety profile and how it moves through the body, not to treat a specific disease.
