Can a spoonful of oat bran a day help your heart?
NCT ID NCT06747234
Summary
This study tested whether adding oat bran to the diet could help control heart disease. For two months, 32 patients who had recently undergone a heart procedure either received general dietary advice or that advice plus a daily serving of oat bran. Researchers measured blood fats, inflammation markers, and gut bacteria to see if the oat bran made a difference.
