Summary

This study compared two surgeries for a rare condition where an artery squeezes the small intestine, causing severe nausea, vomiting, and weight loss. Twenty adults were randomly assigned to either a gastric bypass or a bypass that reroutes the intestine. Researchers tracked symptoms, nutrition, and quality of life for one year to see which surgery works better.
