Zap to calm? device tested for Teens' dizzying condition

NCT ID NCT06268288

Summary

This small, completed study tested if a non-invasive device that stimulates a nerve in the neck could help manage symptoms in teenagers newly diagnosed with POTS. Over two months, researchers compared the device's effects against standard recovery advice, looking at symptom severity, daily function, and heart rate changes. The goal was to see if this approach could ease the dizziness, fatigue, and other challenges of POTS.
