First seen Mar 02, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This pilot study looks at whether an 8-week nutritional supplement can help reduce actinic purpura, the purple bruises that often appear on older skin. Researchers will compare the supplement to plain vitamin C in 30 healthy adults aged 55 and older. The goal is to see if the supplement can lessen the number and size of these bruises.
