Can a breakfast pill stop prediabetes?
NCT ID NCT07265115
Summary
This small study tested whether a special dietary supplement could help control blood sugar spikes after a meal in people with prediabetes. Twenty-one volunteers with slightly high fasting blood sugar took either the supplement or a placebo pill with a standard breakfast. Researchers then tracked their blood sugar levels over two hours to see if the supplement made a difference.
