Fighting cancer with food: new study aims to stop malnutrition in kids
NCT ID NCT06175273
Summary
This study tested different ways to help children with cancer get enough nutrition during their treatment. Researchers compared three methods—nutrition drinks, appetite-stimulating medicines, and feeding tubes—to see which best helped kids maintain their weight and muscle. The goal was to gather evidence to create better care guidelines for preventing malnutrition, which can worsen treatment side effects and survival.
