Blood test may reveal hidden heart surgery risks
NCT ID NCT07356219
Summary
This study looked back at medical records of 117 patients who had coronary artery bypass surgery. Researchers wanted to see if a simple score based on two common blood tests (albumin and lymphocyte count) could predict who might develop serious complications after surgery. The goal is to help doctors identify high-risk patients before surgery so they can provide extra care.
