Can a simple blood test forecast your surgery risks?

NCT ID NCT07356219

Summary

This study looks back at medical records to see if a simple score based on two common blood tests can predict who might have serious complications after heart bypass surgery. Researchers analyzed data from 117 patients who had the surgery to see if the score, which reflects nutrition and inflammation, was linked to problems like kidney injury or infections. The goal is to find a better way to identify high-risk patients before their operation.
