Maine cancer patients get free groceries and nutrition help in new study

Summary
This study looks at whether giving cancer patients healthy groceries and nutrition advice can improve their diet, reduce symptoms, and boost quality of life. One hundred adults with any type of cancer living in four Maine counties will be split into three groups: some get groceries plus counseling, some get groceries only, and some get standard care. The goal is to see if better food support can ease the burden of cancer treatment.
